Academics

At Peace Lutheran School, we are committed to providing a Christ-centered education that builds a strong academic foundation for lifelong learning. In our lower elementary grades, students are immersed in the core subjects of math, language arts, reading, writing, social studies, and science through a blend of personalized instruction, guided discovery, and hands-on learning experiences.

As students progress into the upper elementary grades, we focus on developing essential skills such as critical thinking, independent study habits, and effective communication—all to prepare them for a smooth transition into middle school.

To complement our core curriculum, students also benefit from enriching classes in art, technology, music, and physical education. These subjects support a well-rounded education and allow students to explore their God-given talents and interests.

Most importantly, every subject is taught from a Christian worldview, grounded in the unchanging truth of God’s Word. At Peace, the love of Christ shapes not only our instruction, but also every relationship, every classroom, and every day.

Athletics

At Peace Lutheran School, we believe that sports are a valuable part of a well-rounded, Christ-centered education!

Throughout the school year, our students have the opportunity to participate in basketball, cheer/dance team, soccer, and track & field. We are proud to partner with Hope Christian Academy to provide additional athletic opportunities and team experiences.

Our coaches emphasize not only the fundamentals of each sport and skill development, but also the growth of Christ-like character. Through practices and games, students build perseverance, discipline, teamwork, and a spirit of humility—all while learning to use their talents to the glory of God.

The Arts

At Peace Lutheran School, we value the creative and intellectual gifts God has given each student and seek to nurture them through meaningful fine arts experiences.

In addition to music and art as part of our core curriculum, students have the opportunity to participate in a school play and share their musical talents by singing in church once a month. Our students also take part in the Hope Christian Academy Academic & Fine Arts Day, which includes forensics presentations and an art competition, giving students a platform to express themselves and grow in confidence.

Through these experiences, we encourage students to explore their creativity, develop their communication skills, and use their God-given talents to His glory.
